Smarthomes carried out a whole home installation at a private residence in Surrey. This included full automation throughout the house, with TV lifts, 24 audio zones, 16 video zones inclusive of 2 external TVs in seating areas, full lighting control and home security.
The highlight of this installation was the basement “ man cave” where we designed and installed two outstanding rooms, of which we are extremely proud and the client was completely over the moon.
10 Seater Dolby ATMOS 7.2.4 Cinema
The cinema installation involved some fabrication work for the screen, fitting of a seating platform and a coffered ceiling for lighting effects. Followed up by the equipment installation, final tweaks and calibration.
Smarthomes installed a Sony 4K laser projector which presented a crystal clear image on a 4m wide screen. The speakers were our favourite cinema brand, Artcoustic, which included 2 big subwoofers, 3 extremely large front speakers, rear and side speakers plus 4 in ceiling Atmos speakers; all of these driven by 3 Yamaha amplifiers, creating an outstanding result!
The Games Room
As well as the cinema, our clients desire was to have a luxurious yet relaxed area to entertain friends. A place to watch movies or sport, along with gaming machines, boys toys and a well stocked bar! Smarthomes delivered that and more.
We installed a 6 screen video wall ( 6 x 65” Screens), enabling any combination of screens live at any one time, viewing separate sources – The main football match, a secondary game, results, horseracing and CCTV for example. We powered the audio in this room with an outstanding 4 speaker and 2 subwoofer Artcoustic solution, all very high output speakers. The room was then filled with various games tables (Supplied by The Games Room Company), a juke box and the well stocked bar!
